Rules.
Each award winning business must:

be minority owned (51% or greater)
-
be classified as a small business
-
be alumni-owned (owner identifies as an attendee of a 2 or 4 year institution)

have a maximum of 25 employees
NOTE: There is no cost to participate in the Black Alumni Owned Business Awards
Process.
Registration and Awards Process
1) Click “Register” to complete our simple registration form.
2) You will receive an email with your login details.
3) Log into the website and add your listing which is considered your nomination.
4) Once approved, the nominated listing will be available for public voting during our public voting period.
5) During the voting period, you’ll want to use your social network to get as many people to vote for your business as possible.
6) The Top 3 vote getters in each category will be published on our site. Final winners will be announced by 05/01/2023.
NOTE: Business owners may self nominate. Register and Log in on alumnimatters.com (Business owners must add your business to the site in order to receive an award)
